Lakes, rivers and mountains play host to alpine flora, fauna and wildlife and birds of prey plus of course the alpine cows. Nature lovers will be in their element with the 9 200 hectares of nature reserve, the Cirque of Fer à Cheval, classed as a major national site of outstanding beauty (grand site national), and the Rouget waterfall.
